Invitation to attend the 2026 Conference

Delegates attending the Conference have the opportunity to travel further with both the KZN Clivia Club and Cape Clivia Club Annual shows taking place on the weekend after Jo’burg Clivia Show. Unfortunately, with the current scourge of poaching gripping South Africa, habitat tours have been put on hold to protect our natural resources.

4.    Accommodation

Accommodation is not included, but there are many guest houses, boutique hotels and hotel chains in the area.

5.    Conference Refreshments

As an ice breaker, there will be an informal welcome function at Safari Garden Centre on Monday 7 September, where a variety of light finger snacks will be served alongside a welcome drink.

Each day of the conference includes tea and coffee upon arrival, a morning break with refreshments, a light lunch and an afternoon break with refreshments.

For the auction, snack platters are the order of the evening.

Drinks are not included during lunches and evening functions; however, a cash bar will be available.

6.    Fees

The cost to attend the conference is R1850.00 per person attending the conference.

An “Early Bird” special price of R1750.00 per person is offered if registration and payment is received before 1 August 2026.

This will include:

• Entrance to the welcome function, conference and auction registration.
• All meals listed
• Printed material relevant to the conference and auction.

7.    Payment

• The Registration Form together with proof of payment must be emailed to conference@northernclivia.co.za
• Payment is to be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
• Please use the name as per the Registration Form as the reference on the EFT.
• International delegates can email conference@northernclivia.co.za to make payment arrangements and request any VISA compliance documentation required.
• Neither the Clivia Society nor the Northern Clivia Club is registered for VAT.
• Invoices will be issued by the Northern Clivia Club once a completed Registration Form and Proof of Payment has been received.

8.    Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations made on or before 1 August 2026, will receive a 75% refund via bank transfer. Cancellations made after 1 August 2026, but before 15 August 2026, will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after 15 August 2026.

9.    Disclaimer and Privacy

• Personal information provided is treated as strictly confidential and no personal information will be made available to third parties.
• Neither the Organizing Committee nor its sponsors or committee members assume any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or belongings, however caused. In the event that the 2026 International Clivia Conference is postponed, cancelled or abandoned by any reason or force majeure, the Organizing Committee, Northern Clivia Club or Clivia Society shall be under no liability to the Sponsors, Exhibitors, or delegates in respect of any actions, claims, losses (including consequential losses), costs or expenses whatsoever which may be brought against or suffered or incurred by Sponsors, Exhibitors or delegates as a result of the occurrence of any such event(s).
• By engaging in this event, you acknowledge and consent to the possibility of being photographed, filmed, and/or recorded in any manner. Your participation serves as a release for all forms of media, allowing for the use of these recordings indefinitely. Furthermore, you hereby release Northern Clivia Club from any liabilities that may arise in connection with such recordings
